MPF holds to the fundamental doctrines of the historic Christian faith. We believe:
- The Bible to be the inspired, infallible and authoritative word of God
- There is one God, eternally existent as Father, Son and Holy Spirit
- In the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory
- That all human beings are sinners and can only be saved from God’s final judgment by grace, through faith in the atoning death of the Lord Jesus Christ, by means of the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit
- In the present ministry of the Holy Spirit within believers to enable them to live righteously and to think and act in accord with God’s character and will
- In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those that are saved to eternal life and blessedness and those that are lost to eternal judgment
- In the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ – all those who comprise the Church, which is His body
