In the fall of 2020, two Category 5 hurricanes slammed into Central America causing much devastation, especially in the coastal regions of Nicaragua.  ORPHANetwork’s ministry has identified several relief needs and are seeking a grant from MPF to help provide for some of these needs: eating utensils and pots; work tools like hammers, saws, tape measures, levels, files, machetes, bars, and shovels; and fishing nets.  Almost all tools were lost in the wind and floods and many who depend on fishing for their livelihoods have lost the means to do it.  Providing people with fishing nets helps them get back on their feet and earn a living again.
